Volcano Life Journey is an experiential brand specialising in volcano community-based tourism, created around the concept of “journeying through a volcanic lifestyle’s perspective on the Earth”. 鹿児島にある活火山「桜島」をメインンフィールドに火山＆サイクリングガイドをしています。桜島は世界随一の活火山でありながら人が暮らしている不思議な火山島です。また、眼前に広がる錦江湾と60万都市の鹿児島市街地とのコントラストは世界でもここにしかない景色です。ウォーキングやサイクリングで鹿児島の火山地帯を巡りながら、火山としての景色だけでなくその麓に暮らす人々の営みにも触れて頂ければと思っております。多くの人に桜島や鹿児島のファンになって頂けるような体験を提供してまいります。
I am a volcano and cycling guide specializing in Sakurajima, an active volcano located in Kagoshima. Sakurajima is the most active volcano in the world, yet it is a mysterious volcanic island where people live. The contrast between Kinko Bay and downtown Kagoshima, a city of 600,000 people, is the only view of such a unique place in the world. By walking or cycling around the volcanic area of Kagoshima, visitors can experience not only the scenery of the volcano, but also the lives of the people who live at its foot. Through this experience, I hope that many people will become fans of Sakurajima and Kagoshima.
